Kristen Schwindt Edmondson, LMSW

Kristen is currently pursuing her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Applied Psychology at Western Kentucky University. She is working on her predoctoral internship here at Silver Linings Neurodevelopment to finalize her coursework. She received a bachelor’s degree in family studies from Southern Adventist University followed by her master’s degree in social work also from Southern Adventist University. Kristen’s clinical training is broad as she has worked as a medical social worker for a number of years following her master’s degree. She then spent some time working for an intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization program in Nashville, TN. Here she conducted individual and group therapy for individuals suffering from various mental health disorders. Now recently, for the past 2 years, she has been conducting psychological testing and therapy for adolescents through older adults. Her clinical interests are psychological testing for differential diagnosis. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, water skiing, and spending time with her dogs.
