To help us manage a high volume of inquiries for our services, we kindly ask that you use only one method of contact—whether by email, phone, or our website—unless you have not received a response within three business days. While we are currently unable to answer every phone call immediately, we are closely monitoring all messages and will respond within three business days.

What is Respite?
Respite may be defined as "an interval of relief". At Silver Linings, we recognize that, while you LOVE your children, parents need a break every now and then! Quarterly, or every 3 months or so, Silver Linings is very happy to host Respite Night. Parents are welcome to drop their kids off as early or late as needed. Our volunteers are often team members of SLN, or others from the community whom are very carefully vetted to ensure the safety and happiness of the kids involved. Respite Night for the kids is simply a night of movies, toys, with pizza provided (alternatives available on request). For parents, this is a night to go out to dinner, shop, or simply sit at home in silence for a short time!
You do NOT have to be a patient of SLN! We welcome everyone! All that we ask is that you complete the registration form (see link above) for each child attending. Also, there is NO age limit, as developmental disabilities do not have an age limit themselves!

Remember that you can always use the Patient Portal to schedule or cancel your appointments! Click here to access the portal, rather than calling our office! Please remember to select your desired clinician when picking dates. Also, you may not be able to use the online scheduling tool if requesting a date within 48 hours. Instead, please call our office.
