Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Kristen Coln is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in the assessment of developmental delays and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Dr. Coln received a bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology from the University of Mississippi followed by her master’s degree and Ph.D. in Clinical Child Psychology at the University of Southern Mississippi. Dr. Coln completed an APA-accredited internship through the child and pediatric psychology track within the University of Alabama-Birmingham Clinical Psychology Internship Program. Following her internship, Dr. Coln completed a post-doctoral residency with Keystone Behavioral Pediatrics in Jacksonville, Florida, specializing in the assessment and treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder and a range of developmental disabilities. Over the last 5 years, she has conducted comprehensive psychological evaluations with children and adolescents, with a specific emphasis on ASD, in private practice in Georgia. Her current clinical expertise is heavily focused toward developmental disability and ASD assessment, primarily with younger children. She is very passionate about early identification of ASD and strives to provide research-supported recommendations and treatment based on the individual needs of her clients and their families.
