Counselor
I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in psychology, and master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Jacksonville State University.
I utilize play therapy across the lifespan but predominately with children and adolescents. I am under supervision to become a registered play therapist and I am Autplay certified (https://autplaytherapy.com). Additionally, I use integrative and solution-focused therapy to collaborative with individuals and families and develop specific treatment goals.
I have experience counseling a variety of populations and concerns including LGBTQ+ issues, autism, divorce and separation, religious/spiritual issues and trauma, anxiety, panic disorder, ADHD, and life transitions.
I try to provide a safe, honest, and culturally sensitive space for clients to grow and get what they need from therapy.
I enjoy spending time with family, playing board games, traveling, reading, cooking, and spending time outdoors.
