Respite Night!

We're unfortunately already full for the 12/14 Respite Night.

Please follow us on Facebook for more updated announcements, as we filled up VERY quickly and will reopen registration if schedules change and some families have to cancel.

What is Respite?

Respite may be defined as "an interval of relief".  At Silver Linings, we recognize that, while you LOVE your children, parents need a break every now and then!  Quarterly, or every 3 months or so, Silver Linings is very happy to host Respite Night.  Parents are welcome to drop their kids off as early or late as needed.  Our volunteers are often team members of SLN, or others from the community whom are very carefully vetted to ensure the safety and happiness of the kids involved.  Respite Night for the kids is simply a night of movies, toys, with pizza provided (alternatives available on request).  For parents, this is a night to go out to dinner, shop, or simply sit at home in silence for a short time!

You do NOT have to be a patient of SLN!  We welcome everyone!  All that we ask is that you complete the registration form (see link above) for each child attending.  Also, there is NO age limit, as developmental disabilities do not have an age limit themselves!

Email us at office@silverliningsclinic.com if you have any questions!
